I was there April 28th. 
I think is gonna be cold and snowbound in January.  You&#039;d probably have a hard time reaching Gangotri, let alone Gaumuk.

This year the Gangotri temple opened May 7th and it will close around November 2nd, at Diwali.]]></description>

I plan to return in Dec Jan and want to try again, will it be doable?
